Talented pianist - a gifted singer with superbly deft comic timing and a line in dark humour - respected lecturer in mathematics at Harvard University - Tom Lehrer is a man with many strings to his bow. He’s also one of the great satirical songwriters of the twentieth century. One of his earlier songs, "The Masochism Tango" scandalised audiences on its release in the late 1950s. How times have changed.
